The world of work is changing at a rapid pace, job roles are evolving and new companies and industries are emerging. It is time to prepare our young people to thrive as the future innovators of this new era. Generation Innovation’s ‘Reimagining Work Experience’ will take place on the 17th-20th June 2019 in Titanic Belfast.

What is Reimagining Work Experience?

In June 2019 our annual Generation Innovation Re-imagining Work Experience programme kick starts for 300 lower sixth pupils working with innovation companies from Monday 17th June – Thursday 20th June at Titanic Belfast.

The students form teams and undergo fundamental training in design thinking using the 5 key stages to solve real business challenges. On their final day each team will then travel to their allocated company premises to showcase their solution to the company leaders.

Generation Innovation Re-imagining Work Experience sets out to enable a generation of innovators who believe they can make a difference and have the skillset needed for jobs of the future.

What is Design Thinking?

Big Motive, a design and innovation company based in Belfast, will lead the design thinking aspect of the programme.
